I knew I would be miserable, I knew it wasn't healthy, and I knew the asphalt would be slippery for this accident prone runner. I bowed out and had runner's depression for a whole day, then went about my week as though I was in training again. I only have a teensy ounce of regret still, but wisdom said NO. Good job getting out there! And Hartford? It's practically my home town (Grew up 5 minutes out), hear it's a great race.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02831114585406870114noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1325268124332278871.post-40614543014010384402012-08-11T16:32:07.049-04:002012-08-11T16:32:07.049-04:00That hasn't happened to me yet.....probably bo...That hasn't happened to me yet.....probably bound to happen someday though.
No big deal... the important thing is that you ARE RUNNING.

Get the training in and ONWARD!Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06752798450146454511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1325268124332278871.post-17811937518106506062012-08-06T21:35:53.259-04:002012-08-06T21:35:53.259-04:00Oh my I always set 2 alarms.Oh my I always set 2 alarms.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06985720668734704976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1325268124332278871.post-25707245570096825022012-08-06T20:47:32.532-04:002012-08-06T20:47:32.532-04:00hey Sara.....yeah, the money's a sunk cost and...hey Sara.....yeah, the money's a sunk cost and it's not as if we here in Fine Manor have money to burn!
